Held up here in these stunning Welsh hills at our little retreat centre, a beautiful space, with peaceful accommodation, and full of creative energy!
Friday - Arrive from 2pm and settle into your accommodation, ready for and evening of felt making, this evening we will create wet felted wall hangings.
Saturday - Morning session - this morning we will create wet felted bowls. Take the afternoon to have relaxing free time, or you could go out for a walk or to visit local attractions. followed by a fun evening of decorating your wall hangings and bowls with creative embellishments.
Sunday - Morning session - this morning we will create beautiful felted flower brooches.
There are only 2 (- 4) residential spaces available (depending on whether one person books alone, or friends/family would like to book places and share a room together).
There will also be a couple of places available to local day visitors for the felting workshops.
The self catering accommodation available in the farm cottage is as follows:
The cottage has two bedrooms, both have single beds for either one person in each room or for friends sharing. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath, and the other with shower. There is a large shared full kitchen. And a comfortable shared living room.
Prices:
Prices include accommodation for residential guests, activities or classes planned, all felting fiber and materials, felting equipment to use during the retreat, bedding and towels for booked accommodation, teas and coffee.
Residential retreat weekend (rooms in farm cottage, cabin, or fairy pod) - £295
Campervan weekend - £195
Non residential weekend - £155
Prices include accommodation for residential guests, activities or classes planned, fiber for spinning, bedding and towels for booked accommodation, teas and coffee.
Travel & getting here
If you are travelling from abroad - the nearest airports are Birmingham & Liverpool. Train travel - the nearest train stations are Welshpool & Newtown. There are busses to our most local town, we can do a pick up from here. By car - let us know where you are travelling from when you book, and Luke will send you really good simple directions to follow.
*****You will need to bring with you:
* Bring along your food for throughout your stay - bring what you would love to eat throughout your stay (there are local supermarkets & shops in nearby towns of Welshpool & Newtown, and a Spar shop in Montgomery) There is a large shared kitchen space in the farm cottage, with a fridge/freezer to share.
(you are welcome to share meals together if there are any others staying who would also love to do shared meals together, or you are very welcome to make your own food, please do whatever you feel the happiest to do).
All shared spaces must be kept clean and tidy after use, for everyone to enjoy a relaxed space together, thank you x
* Bring suitable footwear - if you enjoy walks and would love to explore the local countryside. Bring along a pair of wellies and a raincoat incase of wet weather.
* Bring along your house slippers - all the indoor spaces are shoe free.
