Little Pentre is a relaxing and peaceful space, it's a perfect place to unwind, visit the local area, enjoy an eco holiday, or come and enjoy some creative time and learn a new skill, from a large choice of crafts and fiber arts workshops with Lea in the Wild Creative Textiles fiber art studio here.

Guest Access

Outside there are two thirds of an acre of shared gardens to enjoy with plenty of quiet places to sit and rest with stunning views accross the valley

When spending time in the gardens please do respect the spaces around the other outdoor rooms if there are guests staying in them as they may prefer their own space, thank you.

There is a lovely shared downstairs bathroom for guests with power shower and toilet.

In the farm cottage there is a shared kitchen available for you to use to make your breakfasts, with your own shelf in the refrigerator.

Smoking is only allowed outside and cigarette ends must be disposed of properly, thank you.

Interaction with Guests

We love interaction with our guests, and we also respect that some like to come and relax with their own space.

The Neighbourhood

The views here are absolutely stunning! We get the most beautiful sunsets across the valley, also on clear nights the stars are amazing as there's no city light pollution.

The people of Montgomery are so friendly and very welcoming. There are some lovely cafes, a few country pubs and quaint little shops in the tiny town, and the castle ruins are lovely to wander around with panoramic views of the surrounding area. Montgomery has been described as a place where time forgot and we totally understand why.

It's the perfect place to get away from it all, and there are plenty of wonderful places nearby to visit! If you've never been to this area before we can advise you of some great places to visit locally.

Getting around

From Montgomery there are buses to nearby towns and villages, they also connect to Newtown and Welshpool which both have train stations. Please e-mail us if you have any public transport enquiries.

Shop ~ We have a gallery and shop in the Wild Creative Textiles Fiber Art Studio which you are welcome to browse or treat yourself to artisan goodies to take home, all lovingly handcrafted here.

Creative Breaks ~ If you love to do crafts and fiber arts, or are new to crafts and fancy giving it a whirl, you can book a personal workshop with Lea, or come along for a craft retreat for one of the group events coming up here.

Choose from felting, beginners crochet & creative crochet, beginners handspun yarn & art yarns, beginners freeform knitting, recycling & upcycling.

Personal craft sessions are £20 per hour plus materials (or you can bring your own if you prefer) You can book as many hours as you'd like, or just 1 - 2 hours to give it a try.

If you have a little group of friends who would like to come for a personal creative weekend or week retreat together, let us know via email and we can give you a price for your group.

Sauna ~ You are welcome to book sessions in the infrared sauna, with colour light therapy here for £7.50 per 20 minute session.

Therapies ~ Assembladge point healing, crystal healing, chakra balancing and reiki treatments are available if pre-booked at £35 for an hour, and aura diagnosis for £45 per hour. We also can arrange for you to have a massage here with a local therapist, please give us plent notice to arrange your treatment, and have a look at the therapies page (found in the More tab) to see the range of massage options available.
