Recycled Textile Art

Enjoy an inspiring and creative workshop with Lea at Little Pentre learning how to make your own gorgeous textile art from textile waste and recycled fabrics.

An exciting and inspiring workshop to encourage your creativity, learning how to layer fabrics and work with colour, textures and design, with full support and guidance, so you can build confidence to be more creative with textile art to create your very own one of a kind pieces. 

You don't need any artistic creative experience, you will need to bring your own sewing machine in good working order, and have had some experience at sewing on your machine.
At the end of this wonderful workshop you will take your beautiful unique textile art home with you.

Each person needs to bring a selection of your own fabrics to recycle with patterns and colours that you love, browse charity shops for interesting colours and textures and sheer fabrics too, and any jewelley/small beads you like in charity shops is useful to bring too, or broken jewellery with small beads you may like to recycle into your creations. Sequins and seed beads are useful additions too.

*I advise booking at least 5 hours plus for this workshop or if you are confident to have time to work on your project between sessions then you could space the hours of tuition over two days to give yourself time to work on your project between sessions.
Accomodation can be booked here at Little Pentre for this craft retreat if you would like to enjoy a relaxing creative holiday

It is better to bring your own supplies in the colours you prefer but if you would prefer to have recycled fabrics and embelishments included please enquire about a price (plus price of your session hours booked)
